THREE COURSE MENU - $45 PER PERSON

Begin your dinner with Weskeag Oysters – $2.00 each – raw: cucumber mignonette or broiled: bacon, spinach, parmesan GF

APPETIZERS

  • ROASTED CHIOGGIA BEETS – local herbed goat cheese, romesco sauce, toasted almonds, greens tossed with basil-oregano vinaigrette
  • MUSSEL, SAUSAGE & LEMONGRASS SOUP – seed crisps, escarole chiffonade
  • BAKED RICOTTA GNOCCHI – tiger shrimp, grilled eggplant, baby bell peppers, spinach, whipped parmesan mousse

ENTREES

  • STEAK FRITES – bearnaise butter, hand cut fries tossed with fresh herbs & parmesan GF
  • ROASTED WINTER VEGETABLE MAC & CHEESE – seared chicken breast, four-cheese mornay
  • CORIANDER CRUSTED TUNA – red thai curry rice noodles, bok choy, coconut milk GF

DESSERTS

  • A PASSIONATE CHOCOLATE-ORANGE AFFAIR –
    • blood orange upside down cake – Chantilly cream, chocolate caramel sauce**,
    • dark chocolate grand marnier semifreddo – candied orange peel GF,
    • mille feuilles – orange-dark chocolate macarons, passion fruit sauce GF
  • TRIO OF HOUSE-MADE SORBET – fresh fruit, almond tuile **

Our world-class cuisine infuses New England fare with an international flair, featuring the freshest seafood and local ingredients. Our five-course dinner menus change to reflect the seasons and our cellar list offers a variety of fine wines to complement your dinner selections.

Over the past few years, we have seen a wonderful surge in the availability of local products. Maine, especially the Mid-Coast, has an amazing group of farmers and fishermen offering beautiful organic produce, meats and cheeses, as well as seafood caught in local waters. Every day we use the bounty of their harvest to create the magical dinners you experience here at The Hartstone Inn.
