Local 188 will be participating in Restaurant Week on March 4,5,6 & 11,12,13. Due to the harsh effects the pandemic has had on business operations this past year, our focus this year is to showcase the terrific products our local purveyors provide us… Stonecipher, Laughing Stock & Sunset Acres Farms, Fruit of the Forest, Common Wealth Poultry, Upstream Seafood, etc. We will be offering a four course menu designed by our enthusiastic Chefs that focuses on the beautiful ingredients that we are so fortunate to have in our hands, as we’ve begun to welcome patrons to join us for dinner.

Local 188 has its roots in Spain but draws influence from all over the Mediterranean to create a unique blend of old and new. Staying true to Maine’s seasonal offerings, Chef Jay Villani constructs a menu that is both innovative and familiar. Ingredients are sourced from local farmers, foragers, and fishermen. Many components of the menu, such as breads, charcuterie, pickled vegetables, and desserts, are prepared in-house.
